Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms

By accessing or using the Analytics Mates website (www.analyticsmates.com) or The Helm platform (app.analyticsmates.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.

2. Services

Analytics Mates (operated by Zen Anchor Digital LLC) provides measurement operations consulting, GA4 implementation, and The Helm — a software platform for Google Analytics 4 analysis, signal monitoring, AI-assisted reporting, and optional Google Tag Manager reads to diagnose container configuration. Service details, deliverables, and engagement terms are specified in individual client agreements or platform subscription terms.

Google access: GA4 and Search Console connections use read-only OAuth scopes. GTM is requested as read-only (tagmanager.readonly) for diagnostics. The Helm does not publish your GTM container.

3. User accounts

To access The Helm platform, you must create an account using valid credentials. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at Data@AnalyticsMates.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use our services for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Use automated means to scrape, index, or extract data from our platform without written permission
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when using our services
• Interfere with the security or integrity of our systems

5. Intellectual property

All content on the Analytics Mates website and within The Helm platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software — is owned by Zen Anchor Digital LLC or licensed from third parties. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.

Client data connected to The Helm (GA4 properties, website data) remains owned by the client. We access it solely to deliver the agreed services.

6. Third-party services

The Helm integrates with third-party services including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and others. Your use of those integrations is also subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for the performance, availability, or policies of third-party platforms.

7. Disclaimers

Our services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the results obtained from using the platform will be accurate or reliable. Analytics data is inherently subject to the limitations of the underlying platforms (GA4, GTM, etc.).

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Zen Anchor Digital LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the applicable service in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zen Anchor Digital LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of our services or your violation of these terms.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the services ceases immediately.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated terms on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
