Analytics Mates is operated by Zen Anchor Digital LLC ("we," "us," "our"). Our primary website is www.analyticsmates.com and our platform is available at app.analyticsmates.com. Privacy contact: Data@AnalyticsMates.com.

2. What we collect

We collect information you provide directly — such as your name, email address, company name, website URL, and business type when you submit a consultation request or sign up for The Helm.

We also collect usage data automatically when you interact with our website or platform, including pages visited, time on page, referral source, and browser/device information. This website analytics is collected through Google Analytics 4 (GA4) via Google Tag Manager.

When you connect The Helm to Google services, we additionally process Google user data you authorize (see Section 6).

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to consultation requests and onboard new clients
• Deliver and improve The Helm platform (audits, signal diagnostics, recommendations)
• Read linked GTM containers (read-only) to detect misconfigurations and prepare fix recommendations you apply yourself
• Send relevant communications about our services and product updates
• Understand how our website and platform are used so we can improve them
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use customer Google Analytics, Tag Manager, or Search Console data to train AI models, build industry benchmarks, or for advertising.

4. Marketing and email communications

If you submit a consultation form or sign up for The Helm, we may contact you about our services. We use ActiveCampaign to manage contact records and email communications. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email we send.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data with third-party service providers only as necessary to operate our services, including:

• Google APIs — GA4, Search Console, and Tag Manager OAuth access as you authorize
• Google Gemini — AI-assisted insights for your own account
• ActiveCampaign — contact management and email
• Postmark — transactional email delivery
• Google Cloud Platform / Firestore — platform hosting and encrypted storage
• Firebase — authentication and hosting

Each provider operates under their own privacy policy and data processing agreements.

6. Google user data (Limited Use)

The Helm's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

• Google Analytics 4 (read-only): property/admin settings, data streams, event and conversion metrics after you connect GA4.
• Google Search Console (read-only, optional): search performance for properties you connect.
• Google Tag Manager (read-only for current OAuth verification): GTM accounts, containers, and container contents (tags, triggers, variables) for containers you explicitly link via tagmanager.readonly. We do not request publish/write scopes in the current verification. The Helm never publishes your container.

We do not sell Google user data; use it for advertising; train models or build benchmarks from it; or co-mingle it across customers. You may disconnect Google access at any time.

7. Cookies and tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics (GA4), performance monitoring, and to remember your preferences. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of our website.

8. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to deliver our services and meet legal obligations. OAuth tokens persist while you keep a Google service connected and are revoked on disconnect. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at Data@AnalyticsMates.com.

10. Children's privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
